Multifocal hematogenous osteomyelitis in an adult treated with corticosteroids

Summary

We describe an adult patient with bullous pemphigoid treated with prednisone, who twice went through a septicaemia during this therapy. One year later a multifocal symmetrical hematogenous osteomyelitis in the legs became manifest.

Wir beschreiben den Fall einer erwachsenen Patientin mit Parapemphigus, bei der während einer Prednisontherapie zweimal eine Sepsis auftrat. Ein Jahr später manifestierte sich eine multifocale abszedierende Osteomyelitis der unteren Extremitäten.
