Summary

An International Workshop on “Field Worker Exposure During Pesticide Application” was organised in The Hague from October 9–11, 1979 by the Scientific Committee on Pesticides of the International Association on Occupational Health.

Papers and discussions dealt with the factors that may influence the exposure, such as the formulation, application, and personal protection and also with the measurement of exposure and biomedical effects under field conditions.

A limited number of papers were concerned with various scientific subjects relevant to field worker exposure.
