Abstract

There has been an increasing number of biotechnical processes for use or treatment of olive mill wastewaters (OMW) over the last twenty years, both at laboratory size and on pilot scale. This paper reviews the methods described in the literature emphasizing the most important features and constraints of each of these processes.
