Summary

A T.V.-scanning-line-comparator is described for making long-term records of locomotory activity and speed of animals. The apparatus is used in combination with a closed circuit T.V.-system. The animals are counted when they pass a fictitious line corresponding with a scanning-line of a T.V.-picture.
