Zusammenfassung
Es wird eine Methode zur indirekten Bestimmung des systolischen und diastolischen Blutdrucks an ruhenden Ratten beschrieben. Sie beruht darauf, daß während der Drucksenkung in einer um den Rattenschwanz gelegten Manschette die im Moment des Unterschreitens des systolischen Drucks im distalen Schwanzteil auftretende Volumänderung langsamer erfolgt als die Volumänderung nach Unterschreiten des diastolischen Drucks. Bei einem Vergleich mit der direkten Blutdruckmessung zeigt sich die Brauchbarkeit des Verfahrens.
