Experimental determination of the binodal temperature in the lead borate system

Abstract

An experimental determination of the phase boundary in the region of immiscibility of the PbO-B2O3 system is reported. Measurements were made by visual observations of both the clearing and clouding temperatures for a series of isothermal heatings. The results are compared with those obtained in previous studies.
