Lupus erythematodes als allergisch-hyperergische Systemerkrankung

Schlußfolgerungen

Lupus erythematodes ist als Folge einer Infektionsallergie bei besonders disponierten Individuen aufzufassen. Als Erreger steht der Streptococcus im Vordergrunde. Der Kochbacillus spielt bei der akuten Form als determinierender Faktor überhaupt keine Rolle, seine etwaige Bedeutung für die chronische Form bleibt ungeklärt, sie ist jedoch bestimmt nicht im Sinne eines determinierenden Einflusses zu deuten. Die Bezeichnung „Lupus“ erythematodes ist daher als unzutreffend und irreführend abzulehnen.

Bis zur völligen Klärung der Ätiopathogenese der akuten wie der chronischen Form des L. e. wird daher die Bezeichnung „Erythematodes“ vorgeschlagen, wie sie Verf. seit 20 Jahren unbeanstandet angewandt hat 58, 99 100. Für die Behandlung des Erythematodes acutus wird in Zukunft Penicillin das Mittel der Wahl darstellen.
