Zusammenfassung
Es wurde die elektrische Tätigkeit des Gehirns durch das EEG und zum Teil durch ECG in Evipannarkose an 170 Kranken mit Temporallappen-Epilepsie untersucht. Die genügend tiefe Evipannarkose erwies sich als ein geeignetes Aktivierungsmittel der über dem Temporallappen auftretenden Spitzenentladungen und steilen Wellen. In 93% der Fälle wurde durch die Evipannarkose das eingehende Studium der konvulsiven Tätigkeit und dadurch die genaue Herdlokalisation ermöglicht. Die Evipannarkose leistet wertvolle Dienste in der Auswahl der zur Operation geeigneten Fälle und in der operativen Prognostik; sie bewährt sich auch bei der ECG. Auf Grund der aktivierten Spitzentätigkeit werden vom Verf. Folgerungen in bezug auf die Zusammenhänge zwischen den Manifestationen der Temporallappen-Anfälle und dem elektrischen Herd sowie bestimmten cerebralen Strukturen gezogen.
An Hand von 55 Fällen wurden die Erfolge der Aktivierung mit Evipannarkose und Cardiazol verglichen.
