Abstract

Dose-response relationship for the distal retinal pigment hormone of eyestalk extract from Pandalus borealis tested on dark-adapted Palaemon adspersus was studied. The mean responses showed a linear regression on log-dose with equal variances at different doses. The index of precision (λ) was about 0.13. Standard methods for simultaneous trial estimation of the distal retinal pigment hormone are described.
