Summary

Transverse axial tomography of the spine is a technique to evaluate the entire spinal column. The technique is being used to study spondylosis, lumbar stenosis, intraspinal foreign bodies, and congenital anomalies. The method is safe, and the views obtained are reproducible. The radiographic unit we are using is the Toshiba transverse axial tomography.
