Summary
Two giant thrombosed aneurysms of the middle cerebral artery are reported with a review of the pertinent literature. A tortuous channel through the thrombus results in an unusual and characteristic angiogram. Mechanisms involved in the formation of this lesion are discussed.

Les auteurs rapportent deux cas d'anévrysmes géants thrombosés de l'artère cérébrale moyenne et font une revue de la littérature. L'angiogramme se caractérise par un anal sinueux à travers le thrombus. Les auteurs discutent les mécanismes contribuant à la formation de cette lésion.
