Summary
A case of rupture of intracranial aneurysm during angiography is presented. Carotid angiograms showed extravasation of contrast medium into the subarachnoid space at the base of the brain. The literature is reviewed and possible mechanisms are briefly discussed.
Résumé
Les auteurs rapportent un cas de rupture d'un anévrisme intracrânien au cours d'une angiographie. Les angiogrammes carotidiens montraient l'extravagation du produit de contraste dans J'espace sous-arachnoïdien de la base du cerveau. Les auteurs font la revue de la littérature et discutent brièvement les mécanismes possibles.
Zusammenfassung
Fallbeschreibung eines Patienten, bei dem es während der Angiographie zu einer Ruptur des Aneurysmas kam. Die Angiogramme zeigten den Austritt des Kontrastmittels in den Subarachnoidealraum. Ausführliche Literaturübersicht und Diskussion der möglichen Ursachen der Ruptur.
