Conclusion
L'étude au microscope électronique des éléments nerveux intracardiaques et des rapports musculo-nerveux dans le coeur de rat nous a montré un certain nombre de particularités:

Dans les ganglions nerveux du sulcus terminalis, on trouve des cellules particulières proches des éléments chémorécepteurs du corpuscule carotidien. Des cylindraxes renflés rappelant les corps de Herring se rencontrent prés de l'abouchement de l'aorte. Ils renferment des granules comparables aux grains de catéchols de la médullo-surrénale.

L'innervation du myocarde parait se faire selon deux processus: A. rapports intimes et diffus (sécrétion diffuse de médiateurs ?) entre cylindraxes en partie désenvaginés de leur enveloppe schwannienne et fibres musculaires. B. Bouton terminal venant se situer dans une encoche de la fibre musculaire. Il n'existe pas d'organe sous neural.

Le tissu vecteur, dans sa partie auriculo-ventriculaire, (noeud de Tawara, faisceau de His) est la région la plus innervée du coeur.

Nous avons établi quelques rapprochements entre nos images et certaines données physiologiques et histochimiques.
