Summary

The venous system is subject to anatomical variations which have high practical value once they are well known. Venous anomalies will lead to diagnosis in cases where arterial anomalies are not quite evident or even lacking. The significant contribution of this paper is the demonstration of the venous signs of involvement of the peduncle in case of thalamic tumour.

Résumé

Les veines de la fosse postérieure présentent des variantes radio-anatomiques qu'il faut bien connaître. Leurs déplacements peuvent conduire au diagnostic lorsque les artères sont peu perturbées, voire normales. L'auteur décrit les signes veineux de l'envahissement pédonculaire dans les cas de turneur thalamique.

Zusammenfassung

Die Variationen der einzelnen Venen der hinteren Schädelgrube sind genau in Betracht zu nehmen. Verschiebungen dieser Venen können zum Befund verhelfen auch wenn die Arterien nur wenig abnormal oder sogar normal liegen. Die venösen Veränderungen der sich zum Schenkel ausdehnenden Thalamus-Tumoren werden beschrieben.
