Temperature-sensitive mutants in cysteinyl-tRNA ligase of E. coli K-12

Summary

Two mutants with a defective cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase have been found in a collection of spontaneous temperature sensitive mutants. The mutated gene, which is designated cysS, is closely contransduced with purE.
