Photosensitization of Col Ib factor by 5-bromodeoxyuridine

Summary

Col Ib factors which contain 5-bromodeoxyuridine — substituted DNA are highly sensitive to UV light. At the dose 3000 erg/mm2 of UV light 95% of the survived bacteria became noncolicinogenic.
