Summary
The cercariae of Schistosoma mansoni were incubated in antiserum, studied by means of electron microscopy and found that:

There will be distinct changes on the tegument of cercariae after formation of the cercarial envelope.

2.
The cercarial envelope appears hyaline with the light microscope, while it demonstrates finely granulated material by means of electron microscopy.
Zusammenfassung
Die Cercarien von Schistosoma mansoni wurden nach der Behandlung mit Antiserum elektronenmikroskopisch untersucht und dabei folgendes festgestellt:

Nach der Hüllenbildung treten am Tegument der Cercarien deutliche Änderungen auf.

2.
Die im Lichtmikroskop hyalin erscheinende Cercarienhülle weist elektronenmikroskopisch feine Granulationen auf.
