World Journal of Urology Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

17 patients underwent transpubic urethroplasty between 1976 and 1985. 13 patients had sustained urethral injury as a result of road accidents, while in 4 it was due to other causes. In the post surgical follow-up, impotence persisted in 4 adults. Incontinence and recurrent stricture were each seen in 4 patients. No patient had any orthopaedic disability, while in one patient there was residual penile deformity.
