Zusammenfassung

Die Totalfärbung des Anurengehirns mit Paraldehydfuchsin, die mit dem Viktoriablau-Verfahren von Braak (1962) verglichen wird, ermöglicht eine plastische Betrachtung des gesamten neurosekretorischen Zwischenhirnsystems.

In aufgehellten, totalgefärbten Froschhirnen (Rana temporaria L.) überrascht das Ausmaß der räumlichen Kontakte zwischen den dicht gelagerten neurosekrethaltigen Endigungen in der Eminentia mediana (Zona externa) und dem primären Kapillarnetz der portalen Hypophysengefäße.

Durch Lebendbeobachtung bei Rana temporaria L. und Rana esculenta L. wurde gesichert, daß das innerhalb des primären Kapillarnetzes fließende Blut der Pars distalis adenohypophyseos über die portalen Hypophysengefäße zugeleitet wird.

Die feinere Angioarchitektonik des portalen Hypophysensystems und der tieferen Hypothalamusgefäße wurde an aufgehellten, mit Tuschegelatine injizierten Gehirnen von Rana temporaria L., Rana esculenta L. und Hyla arborea (L.) untersucht.

Die Bedeutung der Totalfärbung des neurosekretorischen Systems der Anuren für die Erforschung der funktionellen Verknüpfung von Zwischenhirn und Vorderlappen der Hypophyse wird diskutiert.
