Abstract
A controlled potential coulometer has been constructed according to specific requirements which are relevant for high precision analytical work. The working of the instrument electronics is described together with its electrical calibration. Emphasis has been put on the delivery and measurement of a low current at the end of the electrolysis. A reliable scheme for an accurate calibration of the coulometer has been worked out.
