Summary

This report deals with the clinical findings in two patients who developed a neurinoma and neurofibroma, respectively, of the axillary pit.

Surgical treatment led to a lesion of the radial nerve where it arises, immediately distally to the branching-off of the axillary and thoraco-dorsal nerves, from the fasciculus posterior.
