Summary

Myeloma cells in CSF have been described by Spaar and Argyrakis in a case of an unusual type of plasocytoma which involved the cerebrospinal leptomeninges and subarachnoid spaces mainly.

In addition to this paper a case of myeloma is reported, in which the diagnosis of this disease could only be verified by specific cytologic evaluation of the CSF too.
