Summary

The 6-PGD isoenzyme system in the four Ungulata species horse, cattle, swine and sheep is controlled by one autosomal gene locus. At this locus two alleles have been found in the horse and swine.

Zusammenfassung

Das 6-PGD-Isoenzymsystem bei den vier Vertretern der Ordnung Ungulata: Pferd, Rind, Schwein und Schaf wird von einem autosomalen Genlocus kontrolliert. Bei Pferd und Schwein fand sich ein genetisch determinierter Polymorphismus mit jeweils 2 Allelen an diesem Genlocus.
