Determination of adenosine deaminase gene frequencies with a new technique

Summary

In a population sample of South-Germany red cell adenosine deaminase phenotype has been determined. For the first time it was used cellulose acetate membran-elektrophoresis instead of starch-gel-elektrophoresis. The results show that there are no significant differences to other published gene frequencies.

Zusammenfassung

Genfrequenzuntersuchungen zur Adenosindesaminase wurden an einer süddeutschen Stichprobe durchgeführt. Hierbei wurde erstmals statt der Stärkegelelektrophorese die Celluloseacetatfolien-Elektrophorese verwendet. Die dabei ermittelten Genfrequenzen weichen nicht von bisher publizierten Ergebnissen ab.
