Summary
The intermuscular implantation of the solid Yoshida sarcoma of the rat makes it possible to create tumors with a constantly reproducible relation between the time of implantation and the size of the tumor. At a certain time, these tumors are similar to human micrometastases in appearance and behaviour. Therefore this method is suited for model tests regarding the behaviour of micro tumors.
