Abstract
Tin compounds have been widely used in numerous industrial processes and products. As a result, elevated Sn levels can be detected in some parts of the environment. To better understand the chemistry and toxicity of tin in the environment, it is necessary to investigate tin resistance, accumulation and transformations by microorganisms.
