The surface of Priapulus caudatus (Lamarck, 1816)

Abstract

A scanning electron microscope study of the surface of Priapulus caudatus is presented. Both adults and larvae have been studied. The pharynx, circumoral region, “collar”, proboscis, trunk, caudal appendage, and larval lorica are described.
