Uniparental inheritance of mitochondrial markers conferring resistance to 3 (3,4-dichlorphenyl)-1,1-dimethylurea (diuron or DCMU) and antimycin in the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe is promoted by delaying first division of zygotes.
