Some functions involved in bacteriophage T7 genetic recombination

  • Published:
Molecular and General Genetics MGG Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Bacteriophage T7 genetic recombination is reduced in the absence of the viral coded endonuclease I, DNA polymerase and exonuclease molecules. The results also suggest that the T7 gene 4 product may be involved in recombination. The rec genotype of the host bacterium does not influence T7 recombination.
