Femoral and tibial torsion

A correlation study in dry bones

Summary

Measurements were made in 50 cadaveric femora and their corresponding tibiae. There was a significant correlation between the femoral and tibial torsion. The clinical and surgical implications of this finding are discussed.

Les auteurs ont mesuré 50 fémurs de cadavres et les tibias correspondants. Ils ont trouvé une corrélation significative entre les torsions fémorales et tibiales. Ils discutent les implications cliniques et chirurgicales de ces constations.
