Macrodystrophia lipomatosa — case report

Summary

A review of the literature revealed only few previously reported cases of true macrodystrophia lipomatosa. A similar case is described in which, in addition to the fatty infiltration of the median nerve and some of its branches, subcutaneous tissues and bones were also involved.
