Abstract
For a flow with time-dependent temperature, velocity and temperature can be determined as functions of time by analysing the time-dependence of temperature of two wires of different values of the thermal time-constant. Neither of the wires, immersed in the flow, is heated like in the case of hot-wire anemometry.
