Summary
A description is given of the adult Echinostoma malayanum worms obtained from white rats, white mice, hamsters and pigs. Artyfechinostomum sufrartyfex as described by Lane has all the features of a disintegrated E. malayanum. Therefore, sufrartyfex should be considered a synonmy of malayanum.
