Summary
A study has been made of cattle fascioliasis in the Netherlands in the period 1952–1962. A dynamic pattern has been found, as in the case of lambs published previously. The meat inspection picture is influenced by management and a “reparation process”. The main reservoir for fascioliasis in the Netherlands is in older cattle used for production.
