On Acanthogyrus partispinus nov. sp. (Quadrigyridae, Acanthocephala) from a Malayan cyprinid, Hampala macrolepidota van Hasselt

Summary

A new acanthocephalan, Acanthogyrus partispinus nov. sp. (Quadrigyridae), is described from the Malayan freshwater cyprinid, Hampala macrolepidota van Hasselt. Its affinity to the Indo-Malaysian species of this genus is discussed.
