Summary
By random examination of various insects for cysticercoides of tapeworms, larvae of round worms were encountered attached to the intestinal wall of beetles, Ocnera hispida and Blaps polycresta. The morphological features of the larvae were discussed and materials from infected beetles were fed to chicken and we obtained embryonated eggs from their droppings and on making post-mortum examination of chicken, adult Subulura suctoria worms were found.
