Die chemischen und pharmakologischen Eigenschaften von 7-(β-Isopropylamino-propyl)-theophyllin

Zusammenfassung

Es werden einige chemische und pharmakologische Eigenschaften von 7-(β-Isopropylamino-propyl)-theophyllin-hydrochlorid beschrieben. Die Verbindung ist leicht wasserlöslich, gut verträglich, sie zeigt die therapeutisch erwünschten Theophyllinwirkungen, z. B. Coronardilatation und Diurese in besonderem Maße. Sie unterscheidet sich vom Theophyllin durch das Fehlen sowohl der zentralen Erregung als auch der Pulsfrequenzbeschleunigung und inotropen Wirkung. Die Kontrakturwirkung am quergestreiften Muskel ist stark abgeschwächt. Hinsichtlich der antiasthmatischen Wirkung gestattet die Untersuchung noch keine endgültige Beurteilung.
