Summary
The excretion of intravenously administered Epinephrine in the rat and dog is 2 to 3 times greater in acid than in alcaline urine.
These results show that the renal excretion of Epinephrine is governed by glomerular filtration tubular secretion and non ionic diffusion. Active tubular reabsorption is very unlikely to take part in this process.
