Über den Nachweis von 5-Oxytryptamin (Enteramin, Serotonin) in Carcinoidmetastasen

Zusammenfassung

Die Untersuchung von Carcinoidmetastasen ergab einen Gehalt von mindestens 2,5 mg/g 5-Oxytryptamin, außerdem konnte ein zweiter darmwirksamer Stoff nachgewiesen werden.

Damit wird die Ansicht Erspamers über die Herkunft des 5-Oxytryptamins aus den enterochromaffinen (Gelben) Zellen des Verdauungstraktes bestätigt und die Feyrtersche These ihrer endokrinen Bedeutung unterstützt.
