Summary
Increased platelet stickiness in patients with multiple sclerosis is confirmed. Within a group of active cases there is a significant correlation between the extent of the disease, as evidenced by clinical disability, and adhesiveness. Chronicity of the disease was not associated with increased stickiness. The mechanism of increased adhesiveness in briefly discussed.
