Deutsche Zeitschrift für Nervenheilkunde Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

207 cases with tumors of the temporal region are reviewed. 45.9% developed epileptic seizures which were of temporal lobe origin in 23.7% of the cases. The various types of seizures are analysed and their relation to types and localizations of the tumors is shown. 377 other cases with temporal lobe seizures without tumors are compared with those of the first group and special features regarding differential diagnosis and etiology of seizures are pointed out.
