Zusammenfassung
Klinik und pathologische Anatomie von Rückenmark, peripheren Nerven und Muskeln bei zwei Fällen von als diabetische Neuritis imponierenden Lähmungsbildern werden dargelegt. Es wird vor allem auf das Vorkommen einer fast elektiven Vorderhornganglienzellerkrankung und-atrophie hingewiesen. Die Befunde werden als Ergänzung den gut bekannten Rückenmarksveränderungen im Sinne einer Hinterstrangdegeneration, wie sie neuerdings von Dolman beschrieben wurden, an die Seite gestellt. In pathogenetischer Hinsicht werden Vergleiche mit den Veränderungen bei anderen stoffwechselbedingten Schädigungen des zentralen und peripheren Nervensystems gezogen.
