Über das Verhalten der quergestreiften Muskulatur bei elektrischer tetanischer Reizung

Zusammenfassung

Die Muskelaktionspotentiale (MAP) von Menschen und Tieren bei tetanischer indirekter Reizung werden mit extracellulären Elektroden registriert.

Dieses MAP spaltet sich unter den angegebenen Bedingungen in zwei Spitzenpotentiale, von denen das zweite eine raschere Amplitudenabnahme erfährt als das erste.

Die Möglichkeit einer funktionellen Sonderaufgabe der für das zweite Spitzenpotential verantwortlichen Muskelfasern wird erörtert.

Summary

Muscle action potentials (MAP) are recorded in humans and animals with tetanic indirect stimulation by means of extrecellular electrodes.

This MAP under the described conditions splits into two spike potentials, of which the second one shows a faster decrease of amplitude than the first.

Discussion of the possibility of a special functional task of the muscle fibers responsible for the second spike potential.
