Zusammenfassung
Es wird erstmals über den Nachweis von 17-KS im Liquor cerebrospinalis bei 30 Patienten mit neurologischen Krankheitsbildern berichtet. In der durch Luftencephalographie gewonnenen cerebrospinalen Flüssigkeit wird mit einer modifizierten Zimmermannschen Reaktion der Gehalt an 17-KS beim Mann mit etwa 60 γ/100 ml und bei der Frau mit durchschnittlich 42 γ/100 ml nachgewiesen, die teils durch papierchromatographische Trennung als DHA und Androsteron identifiziert werden.
Probleme der Bluthirnschranke und Liquorchemie, der Steroidchemie und Nachweisverfahren der NNRH in biologischen Flüssigkeiten werden angeführt und die mögliche Bedeutung für die Klinik und Therapie diskutiert.
