Summary

A checklist of microalgae found in sea-ice in the East Siberian Sea in May 1987 has been compiled. A total of 122 taxa have been identified, consisting of 101 taxa in 18 genera of pennate diatoms, 14 taxa in 8 genera of centric diatoms, 4 taxa in 3 genera of dinoflagellates (including Ebria sp.), and 2 taxa in 1 genus of chrysophytes (silicoflagellates); choanoflagellates (Craspedomonadales) were found in one sample.
