Summary
Fusarium solani cutinase supported on Chromosorb P was used to catalyse transesterification and hydrolytic reactions of short volatile alcohols and esters in a continuous gas/solid bioreactor. We showed that it was of great importance to take into account the thermodynamic activity of each chemical species present in the system, related to the effective availability of the substrates (and/or products).
