Summary
A new electrochemical study of arsenopyrite biooxidation was based on process detection by arsenopyrite electrode. The rate of reaction was evaluated as the exchange current density calculated from polarization curves. Obtained data were used for determination of released electrons from mineral and for evaluation of reaction mechanism of its oxidation.
