An umbilicial reconstruction using subcutaneous pedicle flaps is described. With this method, a cosmetically satisfactory result can be easily achieved with little tissue sacrifice. In this procedure the abdominal wall is not incised deeply, thus perforation of the abdominal wall is prevented.
