Tödliche Vergiftung mit Colchicin

Fatal colchicine intoxication

Summary

In two cases, after i.v. injections of colchicine serum concentrations of 170ng/ml and 240ng/ml were found before death. Colchicine was extracted from serum with the aid of Extrelut extraction columns and analysed using HPLC. Urine was also analysed and the findings were confirmed by drawing a UV-curve for colchicine using the stop-flow method. In one case, colchicine was still detectable in urine 10 days after injection.

Zusammenfassung

Nach i.v. Injektionen von Colchicin wurden in 2 Fällen die Serum-Konzentrationen vor dem Tod mit 170ng/ml und 240ng/ml bestimmt. Die Extraktion des Colchicin aus dem Serum erfolgte mit Extraktionssäulen Extrelut. Die Bestimmung wurde mit HPLC durchgeführt. Urin wurde ebenso untersucht, wobei eine Absicherung durch das Schreiben der UV-Kurve im Stop-Flow-Betrieb erfolgte. In einem Fall war das Colchicin noch 10 Tage nach der Injektion im Urin nachweisbar.
