Patellar metastases

A report of two cases

Summary

Primary bone tumours and metastases of the patella are rare. We report two cases of metastases, one from a carcinoma of the salivary gland which was bilateral and the other from extramammary Paget's disease with invasive carcinoma.

Résumé

Les tumeurs primitives et les métastases rotuliennes sont rares. Nous présentons deux cas de métastases patellaires d'un carcinome cutané, l'un d'entre eux présentant une atteinte bilatérale. Deux cas seulement de métastases patellaires bilatérales ont été décrits dans la littérature anglos-saxonne.
